PC-based Building Automation
One system for all trades
With its PC- and Ethernet-based control technology, Beckhoff offers an integral solution. The basis for the acquisition of all data points in the building is the Beckhoff Bus Terminal system with Bus Couplers for all common bus systems. The PC-based control technology enables all building functions and functional changes to be realised based on software. This means maximum flexibility and low engineering costs.
Multi-core on the DIN rail and multi-touch panel
High multi-core computing power is now also available in Embedded PCs with the new CX2000 controller generation. Beckhoff multi-touch Panels and Panel PCs with various display sizes enable greater ease of use.
Manual operating modules with universal fieldbus connection
The manual operating modules enable the switching, control and monitoring of digital signals as well as the setting and reading of data and values in the event of failure of a controller. They are mounted directly in the control cabinet door and can thus be operated without having to open the control cabinet.
TwinCAT Building Software
TwinCAT HVAC – new software function blocks
On the basis of the new standards for room automation we have supplemented our TwinCAT HVAC library. The library has been extended by facade control and lighting for the creation of holistic solutions.
BACnet/IP is directly integrated into the TwinCAT environment. Any PC-based controller can be used as a BACnet building controller. Objects can be generated and configured directly from the PLC.
